verb+object+infinitive


  • make/let + base form
    • e.g Hot weather makes me feel uncomfortable.
  • Advise/encourage/allow/permit+-ing(without an object)
    • e.g I wouldn't advise staying at that hotel(passive).   or I wouldn't advise you to stay at that hotel(active).
